" What a fabulous performance from She’Koyokh at Cawley Hall, Eye on Thursday. Phenomenal musicians with such energy. Wonderful selection of Romany, Turkish and Klezmer. Very difficult to sit still! But they did teach us two dances! "

" Excellent performance by the Orchestra of the Swan-interesting programme too.
Tickets an absolute bargain at £10 - I hope the festival managed to at least cover costs; can't have been easy with such a small venue. "

" I just wanted to say how brilliant I thought Bon Debarras were and to congratulate you on bringing such an inspiring and original trio, where ever did you find them? I was shopping in Bishops Castle the day after Bon Debarras at SparC and the people who had been at the show were still smiling and humming or whistling the next day! "

" Bon Debarras performed in Bishops Castle last night and they were outstanding. The most original combination of music, song and dance I have heard in years. Please bring them back. "

" Last night we went to Bodenham to see My Big Fat Cowpat Wedding and we had a 'right good laugh'.Sitting with dairy farmers, who had married their daughter off last year, we laughed and cried as the TB and failing milk price along with the ever
present worry of managing ' to keep the family farm afloat' made it all too real. However we laughed far more than cried and could only wonder at the cast who were amazing flitting from character character with ease. Lovely chatting to them in role before and also when they were clearing away as themselves. A lovely evening. "

" A wonderful ballet performance by over 50 children aged 4 to 12 at the SpArC Theatre in Bishops Castle. This was the culmination of a week of workshops at SpArC and in Craven Arms with dancers from Birmingham Royal Ballet. The choreography, live music and children's skill and enthusiasm was a delight and the ballet company, organisers and funders are all to be congratulated. Please come again. "

" Wonderful afternoon at Lyde Court, I Peasbottom, I Calliban, was a great performance. The audience all helped to make such a great afternoon. The venue was fabulous. The horse poking his head over the fence to join in just made for more fun. Refreshments first class and all ages had a good time "

" Thoroughly enjoyed the Bowjangles Bowlympics at Meole Brace Peace Memorial Hall last night. If your village hall has not yet booked this brilliant foursome you should ask the reason why not. Thank you to all those involved in organising our first Arts Alive production. I will definitely be supporting the next one :-D "

" We had the pleasure of Bowjangles playing Meole Brace Peace Memorial Hall, Shrewsbury on 15th Sept. They had the audience laughing, crying (with joy!) humming, singing and dancing by the end of the show. The Bowlympics Revue was hilarious. We loved every minute of their show! Thank you Arts Alive bringing them to Shropshire. "

" I heard the Ensemble Sakhioba in Clun a couple of nights ago and want to say what an extraordinary experience it was. Voices quite unlike the European, and powerful so that just 2 or 3 voices filled the large church. Not understanding the words, we were just listening to the musicality of the voices, sometimes harmonious sometimes rasping. The programme became increasingly emotional towards the end. A really remarkable performance - thank you for bringing them to Shropshire and I'm glad you achieved a very full audience for them. "

" Hi Arts Alive
Went along to Northern Harmony's workshop and concert yesterday and it was fantastic. Their close-harmony singing was breathtaking, the venue and organising of the event were superb and I really hope this happens again. Thanks to you for helping fund it - a world-class event in our back yard. Brilliant. "

" Vamos Theatre visited Trefonen last Saturday evening and an audience of 87 were thrilled with the production. The concept of actors not speaking but using masks was an unknown factor but the actors were so talented and professional and the production was excellent. There was much praise for the hard work of the actors who put the set together and then acted and then cleared up and packed their van and then set off for home at 10.30pm. The girls were lovely and we had a wonderful time. Some of the audience were still praising the production on the Sunday lunchtime in the local pub!! "

" Last night we went, with friends, to see The New Budapest Cafe Orchestra in Leintwardine. It was the most exciting, inspiring and uplifting evening. The orchestra were absolutely wonderful, and we all felt privileged to watch and be so close to such amazing musicians. The whole event was a delight and everybody in the audience were stamping and shouting for more. Thank you Arts Alive for bringing such class entertainment to our area. More of them please, we would certainly love to see that orchestra again. "

" Just to say how much I've enjoyed attending several Arts Alive events during this year. They have all been hugely entertaining and of course very accessible. The most recent event was Friday evening here in Dilwyn with the New Rope String Band. What can I say; fantastic, fun and energetic and this in no way captures the essence of their mad show. The hall was full and everyone enjoyed it. We look forward to more events here in the village. "

" It was great to see Sonia Sabri in Llanwarne Village Hall last night. I see her whenever I can and this night was made extra special by the efforts of the local community in getting behind the event and laying on party atmosphere. I'm please the recent cold snap did not deter the audience or the enthusiasm. "
