Bowjangles
Dracula in Space

Forget everything you think you know about string quartets. Bowjangles is an irreverent, anarchic group of genre spanners, bringing music, theatre and comedy together in a way you’ve never seen before. In this brand new show for 2022 the intrepid foursome are blasting off into outer space to meet a mysterious benefactor whose proposition seems a little too good to be true. But what happens when their lead violinist starts to act a little strangely? The award winning, internationally acclaimed quartet proudly present their new sci-fi horror musical comedy (WARNING: Contains scenes of graphic violins)

Good Habits

Singer-cellist Bonnie and Shrewsbury-born accordionist Pete were on their debut International tour in New Zealand with their van “Brian” when the pandemic hit. Happily stranded, they committed to the nomadic ‘Life of Brian’, performing inside the Kiwi bubble for 2 years before it burst and they returned home. The pair mix vivid storytelling with eclectic sounds, drawing on their diverse musical tastes and weaving them into an action-packed narrative of folky goodness. Once reviewed as "a duo with the sound of a 5 piece", they indulge in their multitasking ability to create a sound far larger and more diverse than you might expect.

Much Ado About Jazz

Much Ado is something a bit different: a unique two-man show aimed at people who don't necessarily like jazz - as well as those who do! An irresistible combination of classic jazz (think Gershwin and Brubeck) and dry humour, incorporating plenty of audience interaction. Highly entertaining while maintaining a high level of musical integrity, the show offers an insight into how jazz musicians work.
