Wilding (PG)

David Allen

A British documentary following a young couple who bet on nature for the future of their failing, four-hundred-year-old estate. The pair battle entrenched tradition as they rip down fences and set the land back to its natural state, entrusting its recovery to a motley mix of animals both tame and wild. It is the beginning of a grand experiment that will become one of the most significant rewilding projects in Europe.

Starring Matthew Collyer, Rhiannon Neads, Isabella Tree

Flicks Advisor (comments from our film promoters)

No one can deny being moved by the incredible beauty, resilience and magic of nature. This film does give a romantic view which is very inspiring - but we must also understand that this is not the whole picture or the reality of what we face. Recommend watching the interview after as well, as it starts to link some of that up.

Beautiful

The film certainly brought the book to life very well. We found the background music intrusive in places but perhaps that is a shortcoming of our sound system ?
