As long as the bad language was tolerated it was considered a very good film

A fabulous Very funny, rude, and extremely well acted film that has lots of swearing in it an absolute hoot.

A superb film if you can tolerate the strong language used. Olivia Coleman was as ever, excellent.

Story and film great. Had been worried about the swearing, but audience found it really funny, not sure if it was shock or amusement. All positive responses.

Probably the funniest film, most shocking, film seen for ages. BUT the language is choice resulting in two walkouts, despite the copious warnings before the event.

Feedback was good for this film. Of course, despite a gentle warning there were a couple who were somewhat shocked by the comprehensive nature of the bad language! However the majority found it rather amusing and left chuckling having had a very entertaining evening. All in all it was a good choice for variety of offering.

Great performances from the two leading ladies. Touched on a number of issues of the time including suffrage and class division. Every time a new letter was read aloud the audience were in hysterics. Highly recommend.

If you don't mind a bit of bad language, this tale is a complete hoot. Knowing it was also a true story makes it even more enjoyable.

Be prepared for a lot of very bad language . Billed as a comedy but there were some dark parts too.

Good film, no-one walked out half way! I had been watching the real Timmothy Spall on TV navigating his boat, what a difference his character in the film!
