A story about people in a village with history. the film kept everyone engaged but we did have to put the subtitles on in the second half

The stellar cast attracted a good audience; this is a gentle, thought-provoking film with wonderful performances from the main actors. At times you could have heard a pin drop in the hall as the more poignant scenes unfolded, yet there were plenty of humorous moments too. Although the trip to Lourdes did not deliver the miracles that the characters had hoped for, we were left with the feeling that they had each returned enriched by a quiet sense of acceptance and a true appreciation of 'home'. A lovely film.

Lovely tribute to the late Maggie Smith. Brilliant acting by all and unexpected miracles come to light. All loved it. Great atmosphere and good social interval at half time. Appealed to all.

The film was warmly received. A touching story, sensitively acted. A lesson in the ramifications of decisions made and consequences following. There was sadness but also humour and warmth. Overall an enjoyable evening for all.

There was quite a divide in the comments of this film. Lots of 10's, lots of 6's and nothing in-between. I think the reason for most of the low scores was due to the difficulty with the accent.
