Lovely gentle film

An engaging film that attracted an older group of people. Well received by the audience who rated the film good or better.

Good film, Bill Nighy brilliant as always, Story line a little on the slow side.

Some of our audience were very moved by this film, others found it a bit slow, but a beautifully shot film, with a haunting score and an understated, moving performance by Bill Nighy.

A slow moving but brilliant performance by Bill Nighy, beautifully filmed with the attention to the period detail adding to the atmosphere. Some of our audience found the music rather loud in comparison to the speech sound level.

A sensitive, subtle performance by Bill Nighy forced us to reconsider our way of living and where our priorities lie.

We showed this as a pre-release during the 2023 Borderlines Film Festival. The audience loved it, the majority giving it a five star rating. It is a very emotionally intelligent film where the abilities of the actors combined with the cinematography and music communicate much more than words can convey. Beautifully understated yet powerful. Go and see it - you will be moved.
