MUSIC, Musical - Full, Interesting - excting, colourful.

Not as good as Bohemian Rhapsody was the overall view.

Good enjoyable film

Rocketman is an entertaining biopic that cleverly uses Elton John’s songs for both concert recreations and narrative. It is a glossy production that captures both the showman and troubled individual. Entertaining and enjoyable the audience sang along joyfully to the well known hits as well as quietly and pensively absorbing the moments of sadness when they got a glimpse of the private life of Elton and his upbringing.

Totally engrossing, funny sad and all to the backdrop of his music.

A great film, with super music and casting. Highly recommended, but be prepared for some uncomfortable scenes too.

A fantastic film, emotional in parts, brilliantly acted and directed. Well worth watching! Brilliant songs well sung and performed too.

Audience loved the music (not enough of it) and found some of the other stuff bit difficult. Interval chat time agreed that Elton has had a tough life and therefore couldn't be all rosy.

Good film with great music!

Our audience really enjoyed the film which gave us an insight into the realities of his very sad early life. Several commented afterwards on how amazing he had survived it all. Fantastic costumes, good music and lots of colourful language throughout.

A thoroughly entertaining film with loads of Elton's very poignant songs. Taron Egerton was superb as Elton. It was enjoyed by all I spoke to after the film.

A great film for an outdoor screening, terrific soundtrack and lots of colour and spectacle. First half charting young Elton's rise to fame is more engaging than battle with addiction but Taron Egerton is mesmerising throughout.

This was a very popular choice and went down really well. It was highly entertaining, moving and extremely well acted.

Seamlessly blends Elton's wonderful music into a well narrated story of the demons that plagued his childhood and early career.

Excellent, good music and a very entertaining film.

A great bio pic which, in parts, embraced a warts and all approach coupled with a sometimes surreal presentation of the songs we all know, to tell the story of Eltons and Bernie Taupins early careers.

We would recommend this film although those of a delicate disposition may object to gay-sex,bad language and drug use!

Someone on leaving commented that they thought this better than Bohemian Rhapsody- a different premise but can understand as the story thread was brilliantly revealed.

An interesting depiction of his early life, highlighting the superb collaboration of Taupin and John. Audience loved it and broke into spontaneous applause at the end. Best audience figures for some time.
