Lovely film with brilliant acting. Would have liked a 'not so sudden' ending. Good Flicks film.

Audience enjoyed this inspirational film.

These ranged from someone who had come to see the film just for the Scottish scenery, to some who didn't think the story was credible (she must have been helicoptered to the mountain top!), to others who thought it was a good film. The consensus though was that it was an evening of entertainment and brings people together for a night out and a chat.

Sheila Hancock is superb in this sad, funny, poignant film with a fantastic backdrop of Scotland.

Excellent storyline and acting

Not a very well known film, promoted on the strength of Sheila Hancock’s performance and stunning Scottish scenery..an unfortunate typo in village News magazine meant some people thought we were screening Bohemian Rhapsody, offered full refund, but everyone stayed - 35 strong audience gave 31 5 star ratings and 4 4 star ratings at end of viewing, as well as one Facebook comment of Brilliant film posted later in the evening.

If you are looking for fast action and a complicated story line this is not the film for you. However, if you are looking for good acting, some drama, a little bit of humour and stunning scenery this film will charm your audience and leave you thinking what can be achieved, regardless of your age.

Sheila Hancock is brilliant

Everyone enjoyed the film. Wonderful scenery. Some humour resulted in bursts of laughter.

Edie went down very well and was both moving and uplifting. It had a good mix of humour, emotion and stunning scenery, plus the mountain climbing element which was something that attracted a fair number of new faces in our audience. The acting was brilliant.

Great scenery, interesting story but stopped too early. How did she get down? What happened to the young man's relationship? What happened next? Are we waiting for Edie 2?
