| Venue notes | Fownhope New Memorial Hall is situated in the middle of the village on the North side of the B4224, opposite The New Inn. It is possible to park on the road outside the Hall, but there is a car park at the rear which is accessed from Court Orchard, but is a tight access. From later pm they can open up a larger areas (shared with the school) to hold 60 cars
Coming from the Mordiford direction, Court Orchard is the third turning on the left after you enter the village.
Coming from the Ross direction, it is the second turning on the right after you enter the village. (Note, you will have passed Fownhope New Memorial Hall on your right about 150m before the Court Orchard the turning.)
Follow Court Orchard around to the right and then, in about 100m, you will see the school ahead, on your right. Just before the school gate, turn right into the narrow entrance to Biggs Lane leading to the Hall car park. Note that this lane is only the width of one car. There is a short ramp at the end of the lane leading into the car park. Outside of school hours, the school playground is also available for parking and this can be accessed from the Hall car park via a short ramp. |
